Shaggy takes “Boom Body” into shatta territory with Shaz remix

Shaggy’s “Boom Body” has received a shatta remix from producer Shaz, giving the track a fresh club direction. The Jamaica Observer reported on 21 October that the official remix arrived on 2 October through Ranch Entertainment and VP Records. The original recording features Akon and Aidonia. This reworking brings electronic dance energy to the song, extending the collaboration into another musical setting. Shaggy has welcomed the cross-cultural approach behind the remix. For listeners following Jamaican music beyond traditional genre boundaries, the release offers another version of a track that already connects several distinctive voices.
